My Brief Bio
After picking up my first camera, a Sony Cybershot, six years ago, I quickly became addicted. I've since upgraded to a Nikon d90 (hurray!). I have an array of lenses: a 105 mm macro, a 35 mm prime, an 18-105 mm regular zoom, a 70-300 mm telephoto, and a fast 2.8 70-200 mm telephoto zoom. And my new additions: a Tokina 11-16 mm ultra wide angle and a Tamron 17-50 wide angle. My tripod is a Gitzo 3530, with a Manfrotto ball head. I'm diggin' my latest photo acquisitions!
For me, photography is a unique way of seeing things. I often look for colors, shapes, patterns. When I get stressed, I like to "fall into" a photograph, absorbing its essence, allowing me to experience a quiet calm. At other times, I like to look at photographic art because the subject intrigues me in some way. I hope my photography will do the same for others.
So please take a look around my website, and if you'd like, come out and see me and my work in the community!
